I am a Consultant Neurologist who lives in Hagley, Worcestershire and works in Birmingham

After causing Boris Johnson to lose his majority, I stood for the Liberal Democrats in Bromsgrove in the 2019 General Election.  I am the health spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats in the West Midlands.

I have a track record of campaigning on human rights (Guantanamo, China), the NHS and a number of other issues ranging from developing a Just Culture in healthcare (#LearnNotBlame, genetics, movement disorders and  medical education) . This website gives some background to me and some of the campaigns I have been involved with.

I also like a good movie, so my blogs may cover a variety of topics! I am especially interested in working with others on issues relevant to people in Bromsgrove- as lets face it with a majority of 80, things are likely to get much worse in the next 5 years. So get in touch and I and the Bromsgrove Liberal Democrat's will do our best to try and help.

I am an invited speaker nationally and internationally and have been interviewed by multiple media organisations from Al Jazeera, CNN, Time Magazine to BBC Hereford & Worcester,  BBC Midlands Today, the Bromsgrove Standard ,  Stourbridge News and The Sun.  I appeared in the BAFTA nominated documentary "Taking Liberties", the Al Jazeera documentary "Prisoner 345" as well as an (uncredited) medical advisor to "Suffragette".
